1st Team Manager - Sarah Carney

I started managing/coaching Solihull Borough under 10s in the 98/99 season. In that first season we won the double, with some exceptional players who are still with me now. I then went on to manage Solihull U12s, 14s and 16s making the jump up to the next level every two years. In my final season (2004-05) with Solihull Borough we had a very good team that lost out on the Championship by 2 goals to Leafield Athletic.

The players then made the decision that they would all like to stay together the following season and play at open age, hence the move to Solihull Ladies. In our 1st season with Solihull we completed the treble by becoming Champions of division 2 and winning both the Open Cup and League Shield.

I've also had the opportuntiy to spend a few summers coaching football in America, in states such as California, Washington, Oregan, Ohio, & New York.
